In youth, a captain bold and grand,
Sailed seas with skill, across the land.
His handsome visage, tales renowned,
A legend of the waves, famed and crowned.
Yet nature's fury, cruel and stark,
Reduced his frame to mere sea spark.
Decaying now, his body fades,
A feast for fishes in watery shades.
The bravest heart, the strongest hand,
Yields to the sea, its harsh demand.
A reminder to all who dare to roam,
Even the mightiest find their final home.
